Amazing watch! Came with the overland band and that’s sick too!
I was kickstarter supporter #6 😂 so you can tell I LOVE Kore Essentials. And when I saw they were dropping a watch I HAD to signup for it. Now that I’ve had it for awhile, I love it. It’s not TOOOOOO heavy, altho it is a tad on the heavier side. The elegance of the watch really shows and I’ve gotten a few compliments on how nice it is. The ONLY thing I wish, is that they went with a light. Don’t get me wrong I like the glow in the dark idea… but in concept it’s not really all that usable. Thankfully I carry a pocket light with me everywhere for my EDC so I can charge up the glow in the dark material, but for those that don’t EDC a light, unless they’re outside all day in the sun, this watch can be difficult to read at night. If it had a light, with one extra switch, it would’ve been PERFECT! The buckle and strap are amazing quality and I love the design. It can be a bit tricky to lineup the ends into the buckle receiver without the watch falling off your wrist so just be gentle and careful when putting it on. Once it’s on though, you can really get that “perfect” fit thanks to the design of the Kore buckle for the watch band. Mine came with the overlander band as well and it’s beautiful. I like how rugged it looks and really compliments itself as a daily driver when you don’t feel like wearing a smart watch. Elegant, gentlemanly, but a touch of modern mixed in. I love it! 5/5
Great, quality watch from a great company
This watch was first on my radar when I saw it on Kickstarter. They offered a generous discount for backers, and I have been happy with my EDC belt for years AND I was in the market for a new watch, so I pulled the trigger (gun pun 100% intended, stay mad) and backed an Excursion! Seems to be really well made, and arguably a very good price point for something of this quality. The glass has held up flawlessly to minor abrasions, and the rubber strap will last a VERY long time. "Low luminance" is an understatement. This thing is the epitome of stealth, which is important for my late night grocery store trips (for which I am clearly carrying). Great watch, super excited to support a company like Kore. My only regret is not buying both the Excursion AND the Eclipse (yet)!
